Lettering is any text tattoo: a word, a phrase, a calligraphic symbol. Fonts change the character — the shapes don't. At Sinkply we do them all in fine line: delicate strokes, clean lines, aging gracefully.

How a lettering tattoo works at Sinkply

Three decisions shape the result: what text, which font, which body area. If it's clear to you, book directly. If not, our simulator lets you preview.

The text

A word, short phrase (max 8 letters for the €50 format), initial, date, name or symbol. You decide.

The font

Cursive, block, serif, handwriting, childlike, script. See the gallery below. Send us a reference if you have one in mind.

The body area

Wrist, forearm, collarbone, ribs, ankle, behind the ear. Minimum recommended size depends on area + font — we'll advise you.

All prices include design, session, second skin and free touch-up during the first year (except hands, feet and behind-the-ear, where touch-up starts at €20).

Do you have a signature, letter or handwriting?

If you want to tattoo someone's real handwriting (a signature, a note, a specific person's writing) — that has its own page with the full process explained. It's not generic lettering: it's faithful reproduction.

Process

01 · Try the simulator

Open the simulator, upload a photo, test fonts, sizes and placements. Save what you like.

02 · Book

For standard lettering, book on Booksy. For larger or highly custom work, message us on Instagram @sinkply.

03 · Session

When you arrive, we review the design and stencil together. You approve, we tattoo. Estimated time: 20–60 minutes depending on size.
