1. How can I book an appointment at SINKPLY?

The easiest way is to send us a direct message on Instagram with:

  • A reference of the tattoo you'd like
  • The area of the body
  • The approximate size in centimeters

From there, we'll quote the price and find a date that works for you.

2. Do I have to visit the studio to book or to share my ideas?

No. You can send us all your ideas via Instagram and we'll handle it from there.

If the design is complex enough that an in-person meeting is needed, we'll let you know.

3. Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule without a problem. We just ask for at least 48 hours notice via Booksy or by Instagram DM @sinkply so we can reorganize the calendar.

4. How should I prepare for the tattoo session?

We recommend you:

  • Come well rested and after eating properly
  • Avoid alcohol before and after the session
  • Shave the area beforehand if possible (with a clean razor)

This makes the process more comfortable and helps healing.

6. Can I see my custom design before the appointment?

If the design is from scratch, we send it the day before the session. Beforehand we'll talk to you to fine-tune the idea and make sure the result fits what you're looking for.

7. Fine line tattoos

Fine line tattoos require a very precise technique. They're made more superficially and with less ink load to prevent the lines from spreading over time.

That's why after healing it's normal that:

  • The tattoo looks lighter
  • Some lines lose intensity
  • The result varies depending on skin and area

Each skin heals differently.

8. Why does my fine line tattoo look faded?

Don't worry. In most cases this is normal and can always be touched up.

Some people even prefer the softer look — you can see this in many of our photos.

If your tattoo has healed correctly we'll tell you honestly.

9. Are there areas where fine line tattoos heal worse?

Yes. Tricky zones include:

  • Hands
  • Feet
  • Wrists
  • Ankles
  • Behind the ear
  • Nape of the neck

In these areas the tattoo can lose ink quickly or even fade before healing is complete.

It's important to think carefully before placing very thin lines on these difficult areas.

10. Touch-up policy

Touch-ups on a mini tattoo done at SINKPLY are free during the first year, except in delicate areas.

  • Mini tattoo: tattoo up to 3 cm, very simple, no fill, no detail, in black ink.

11. What about touch-ups in delicate areas?

In areas like:

  • Hands
  • Feet
  • Behind the ear

The touch-up is usually not free and starts from 20€ — or can be free if you book a new tattoo at the same time (within the first year).

Each case is reviewed individually.

12. Can I get a touch-up if I book a new tattoo on the same day?

Yes, but we need to know before booking the appointment so we can:

  • Allocate the time
  • Assign you the same artist

If we're not told upfront, the touch-up may not be free or may not happen in the same session.

13. What if I haven't healed the tattoo properly?

If the tattoo hasn't healed properly due to:

  • Sun exposure
  • Beach or pool
  • Sport
  • Lack of moisturizing
  • Use of non-recommended products

The touch-up will not be free. We'll review each tattoo individually and quote a price.

14. What about larger tattoos or tattoos with color?

Larger tattoos, with fill, detail, multiple colors or non-black colors are reviewed case by case.

The touch-up price depends on the state of the tattoo, the area and the healing.

15. How do I book a touch-up?

Send us a message on Instagram with:

  • Clear photos of the tattoo
  • The area of the body
  • The approximate date of the original session

We'll review your case and reply.
